Honorary Bragging Rights are blog posts written by site editors that review, discuss, and bring to light noteworthy accomplishments, achievements, and stunts of internet users.

The first two recipients of Honorary Bragging Rights included a guy who successfully executed a daring backyard stunt on a bicycle and a pool player who has mastered several spectacular trick shots. Topics will not be limited in any manner except that they will feature one or more people doing something editors deem worth bragging about. Users who are awarded honorary bragging rights can post a badge to their own website or favorite social network profile that links back to their award page.

BragThis.com will begin by publishing two or more honorary bragging rights per week which can be accessed from the site’s homepage or via RSS feeds. Founder and executive manager Michael Evan Reiss states that “This will be a great opportunity to provide interesting content in the site’s early stages as well as to give users another BragThis.com product.”

Currently there is no official way that users can request honorary bragging rights, but users may submit ideas through regular site contact channels.

The new honorary feature is in perfect company with the BragThis.com model which allows users to create a profile and post their own bragging rights. Bragging rights may feature user generated content such as photos, audio, and video.

http://blog.bragthis.com/rss.asp?b=20 http://blog.bragthis.com/rss.asp?b=20 Internet Explorer 8 Beta - Major Issues : New changes to internet explorer wreaks havok. http://blog.bragthis.com/blog.asp?b=19 Michael Reiss Sat, 13 Dec 2008 21:07:00 EST
Currently Bragthis.com is designed to run for Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3. We also have ensured that older browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 1 and 2 display this site correctly.

Internet Explorer 8 Beta by Microsoft is the latest in their long line of web browsers. It has been released as a Beta, which means that it is not finished and hopefully so. Upon testing Bragthis.com with IE8 Beta, numerous design issues became apparent. The way that IE8 renders websites has been significantly altered from the current standard.

Until IE8 is released in its final form, we will not optimize BragThis.com for it. If you are using this browser, please turn on compatibility mode (IE7) to use BragThis.com

We appologize for any inconvenience. If you are as unhappy as we are with how IE8 Beta works, please alert Microsoft so that they can release a final version that works for everybody.

Thank you
http://blog.bragthis.com/rss.asp?b=19 http://blog.bragthis.com/rss.asp?b=19 BlogThis, BragThis.com's New Blog : Find out what is going on at BragThis.com http://blog.bragthis.com/blog.asp?b=17 Michael Reiss Thu, 18 Sep 2008 18:29:00 EST
BlogThis, BragThis.com's new blog is a great place to find out what is going on at BragThis.com.

Welcome to the first post on BlogThis. Awards add to the total point score of a user and can be posted to their favorite social network such as MySpace.com or Facebook.com.

BragThis.com launched in mid June and is off to a promising start. Executive Manager Michael Evan Reiss states that "the statistics are very positive from the users we have had during this beta period." BragThis.com boasts an average of 6.41 pages/visit which according to Google is 210% of the average for smaller sized social networks*. Also, 8.5% of BragThis.com's visitors viewed 20 or more pages*.

Mr. Reiss believes the site is poised for significant growth in the social network market share, but not until several additional key features are installed and tested. These new enhancements will be heavily responsible for driving first time visitor traffic and expanding the existing revenue streams already in place.

About BragThis.com

Created by entrepreneur and technology enthusiast Michael Evan Reiss, BragThis.com is the latest venture of Advertology, LLC.
